A very informative visit to Luddenham to view the new airport site was held. We were in a place to see the progress to date as properly as see plans for the finished airport and opening schedule.
Probus Day was celebrated in October with a picnic in Fagans Park It was an opportunity to appreciate some of the wonderful facilities we now have within the space and to have a really stress-free and pleasant BBQ. November saw a visit to Cockatoo Island.
The guide took the members on the Lower Island Tour and defined a few of the historical past of this space which has been used because the days of Governor Phillip for quite so much of activities from convict prison to Naval restore base.
The month-to-month visitor speakers have coated a range of items of curiosity. A consultant from Services NSW spoke in October to undergo a few of the advantages obtainable to members in a broad range of areas. In September we had a chat on the activities of Days for Girls.
The 12 months will end with a Christmas Lunch at Glenorie RSL. We look forward to one other diversified and fascinating 12 months in 2024 with plans nicely under method for a lot of thrilling activities.
